far Court.

THE week has passed without the usual visit of the King to London. Their Majesties remain at Windsor Castle, seeing very little com- pany, and occasionally taking rides in the neighbourhood. Miss D'Este and Lady Augusta Gordon have been the King's companions in his morning rides. Lord and Lady Frederick Gordon are at present on a visit at the Castle.

The Princess Augusta has been unwell, but is now convalescent. With the exception of the Duke of Argyll, no person connected with the Ministry has been at Windsor this week.
