Sir: In your admirable columnist's televi- sion review last week, he welcomes the return of `Rumpole of the Bailey'. Whilst supporting him in these sentiments, I feel duty bound to correct one mistake. Rum- pole does not have the letters QC after his name, and is never likely to. His opinions of them vary from the patronising to the despising, and can be summed up in his own phrase 'artificial silk'.
