Office.)—Our old friend Mrs. Brown has visited a good many places since

we met her at Queen Victoria's own theatre, and discourses amusingly upon what she has seen. She is getting too fond of a drop though, and behaves herself unseemly at times. Still she is a pleasant old gossip.
