Tickled pink

I am tickled pink to see the Financial Times in court, trying to stop the Evening Stan- dard printing its City pages 'on FT Peach or any other shade of pink.' There were pink papers before the FT — sporting prints, in every sense, Bristol as late as the 1950s ran to two rival evening papers, in two shades: the Pink 'Un, and the Green 'Un. (Which ecologically minded editor will pick that idea up?) My plans for an enhanced City and Suburban column in- clude printing on a distinctive shade of champagne, possibly Veuve Clicquot. FT, keep off.
