Memoranda: The names of the Ensign appointed to the 43rd Foot on the 8th inst. are Hon. Harry Cavendish Grey. The name of the Ensign appointed to the 55th Foot on the 5th inst. is Thomas de Havilland, and not Thomas de Haviland. The Christian names of Cornet Parry, of the 17th Light Dragoons, are Frederick John, and not Frederick James, as before stated.

His Majesty has been pleased to approve of the 5th Regt. of Foot resuming the motto, Quo fillet ?want, formerly borne on its colours and appointments, in ad- dition to its ancient badge of " St. George and the Dragon." April Regt. of Foot-Gen. Sir H. Warde, K.C.B. from the 68th Foot, to be Col. vice Gen. the Earl of Mulgrave, deceased-68th Foot, Lieut.-Gen. Sir J.
