The regular season of Covent Govent closes on Saturday next,

with the benefit of Madame VEST1118 and Mr. C. MATHEWS • who will take leave of the public, for whose entertainment they have so long and successfully catered, in their managerial capacity. The paragraph that we copied last week from the Literary Gazette, announcing that Mr. CHARLES KEMBLE and Mr. BUTLER had taken Covent Garden Theatre, seems to be correct, except that Mr. BEALE, of Regent Street, was erroneously named as having a share in the spe- culation: the report, so far as relates to Mr. BEALE, has been contra- dicted on authority.
