Royal two-timing

Sir: I've read and reread Mr Moore's article on private happiness (Another voice, 19/26 December) and find I don't agree. I used to feel that Lady Diana Spencer undertook certain duties in marrying the Queen's heir, but that was before I learnt he had been two-timing her from day one. That's an affront no wife should be expected to take and present a smiling face to the world. Wasn't the Prince indulging his own craving for private happiness? Why should he haye that prerogative, but not his wife? My sym- pathies are with the Princess.
