The signatories of the letter go on to say that

they desire to make it known that a movement is being set on foot to give organised expression to the anti-suffrage case. Already a sum of over £13,000 has been promised. It is hoped that

ultimately a fund of £100,000 will be obtained. The imme- diate object is to form a large and comprehensive League in which men and women will be equally represented, a League which will have branches in all parts of the United Kingdom. A secretary and treasurer to the League have already been appointed, with offices at Caxton House, Tothill Street, West- minster, and an account has been opened at Lloyd's Bank, SL James's Street, to which contributions may be sent. Further information may be obtained by writing either to the Earl of Cromer, 36 Wimpole Street ; to Lord Curzon of Kedleston, 1 Carlton. House Terrace; or to Miss Terry Lewis, at the office as above.
