There was a grand ball at St. James's Palace on Friday last. The Court newsman is not hasty with his reports of these matters ; • his account of the Royal festivities did not appear until Monday. ; Their Majesties visited Ascot on Tuesday, and again on Thurs- day. The outrage offered to the King on the former day, we have noticed under other heads. His Majesty intends to visit town on Monday. On Tuesday, there will be a review of the Guards, in Hyde ' Park, which he purposes attending, to deliver a stand of colours to one of the regiments. On Wednesday, his Majesty will hold a Court, in order to receive the addresses of the two Houses of Parliament, as well as the loyal addresses of the citizens of London, &c.
