In Those Ancient Lands (Henn, 12s. 6d.) Mr. Louis Golding

views the land of his fathers through rose-coloured spectacles. He looks at everything from the Zionist standpoint, and he is too evidently a propagandist to be convincing. Explaining why he himself leaves Palestine and the new Jewish Colonies, without showing any inclination to return to settle among his people, he explains ingenuously enough that his ancestors were wanderers, as he is. However, there are some good descriptions of the country, and his enthusiasm is attractive.
