[To THE EDITOR Or TUN " SPACTATOR."i SIR,—Perhaps one would not naturally refer to Vergil for advice on problems of the moment. Yet, in this modern war of giants, where could Mr. Lloyd George find a better summary of the whole duty of munition-workers than in the following lines from the Aeneid 2—

Tollite cuncta,' inquit, coeptosque auferte laboros, Aetnaei Cyclopes, et hue advertite mentem. Arena aeri faeienda viro. Nufic viribus usus, Nunc manibus rapidis, omni nano arts magistra. Praecipitato moms.'"—Aen., VIII., 430-43.
