Message from Kosovo

From Lt P. Egan Sir: So, Taki would rather be in Kosovo (25 September). While reading 'High life' in UN Police Substation 3 in north Pristina, I was interrupted by the noise of an angry crowd over the police net. A man was being attacked by a crazed mob, and police and Royal Green Jackets units were moving in to deal with the incident. Perhaps Cadogan Square and Pristina are not so far apart.

However, following a few nights reacting to sporadic gunfire and the odd grenade attack, I could certainly use a week or two of high living in London. Taki would be most welcome to take command of my pla- toon should he tire of the high life and seek something less exciting.
