A CORRECTION.

Sin,—In your article on " The Distribution of Wealth" you say in discussing the suggestion of the crude Socialist that all that is necessary is to divide the wealth of the rich among the poor; "the division, even if it could be carried out, would not make such a very great difference, for the divisor is so big that the dividend is bound to be small." Surely the writer ought to say that the "quotient" is bound to be small.—I am, Sir, &c.,
