NOBODY is more boring than a man who tells you

his dreams. And, indeed, it is rather incautious on his part to give us these clues to the labyrinth of his subconscious ; for we are all amateur psycho- logists now and can deduce alarming eccentricities in the dreamer. Nevertheless, I risk it. My own recurrent dream is that I am back at school reading the Agamemnon in the sixth form. This is both nerve-wracking and pleasurable. Can it really be that, rather late in the day, I am acquiring a taste for learning ? And is that the reason why I find the B.B.C.'s Schools Broadcasting so satisfying
