Down the Warren

Sir: Being a devoted fan both of the cinema and the Spectator I feel obliged to write and tell you of Mr Ackroyd's mistake in his Vic- tor/Victoria review (10 April), the mistake being that the 'blonde girlfriend' is not played by Miss Lesley-Ann, Down but by Miss Lesley-Ann Warren.

A mix-up of Lesley-Annes is just a little mistake perhaps, but poor Miss Warren is being deprived of a compliment and lucky • Miss Down is receiving undeserved credit!
