Ties QUEEN and the Royal Family returned from Osborne to Windsor Castle, on Wednesday, for the Christmas holidays ; and on Thursday the Prince Consort, with the Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur, Princess Alice, Princess Helena, and Princess Louisa, skated on the ice in the Home Park.

Before leaving Osborne the Prince of Wales paid a visit to his parents. Baron Loewenfels presented to the Prince, from the Duke of Saxe Co- burg Gotha, the order of the Ducal Houses of Saxony.
