In our last impression, we inadvertently wrote " the Bishop

of Durham," by a slip of the pen, for " the Bishop of Carlisle," in relation to the remark of the latter (Bishop Harvey Goodwin) that he would rather see Convocation as it is given legislative power, than reinforced by any lay element. The Bishop of Durham, Dr. Lightfoot, probably does not share this opinion at all, and we had no intention of attributing it to him.
