of January 17th, I suggest that an excellent book for any one who is looking forward to having plenty of spare time for reading is Frederick Harrison's Choice of Books. I know no better book on books. Unlike "Janus," how- ever, Frederick Harrison believed that it is more important to read the great authors than books about them. "We read," says Harrison, "a perfect library about the Paradise Lost, but the Paradise Lost
