On the 16th inst., at St. Leonard's-on-sea, Sir THOMAS ANsmw STRANGE, Knight, D.C.L., formerly Chief Justice at Halifax in Nova Scotia, cud subsequently Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Judicature at Madras, in his 85th year. On the 17th inst., at Tonic House, Fifeshire, N.B., the Lady EMSIA ERSKINE Wswytts, in her 32d year.
