An Heir to Millions. By Edgar Fawcett. (Sampson Low, Marston,

and Co.)—The "Heir" is not a very interesting person, except so far as the owner of enormous wealth is bound to be interest- ing. The theorist, who starts with great schemes for social reform, but finds that the influence of the millions, which in theory he is bound to despise, is too strong for him, is more subtly drawn. The description of his suicide is an effective piece of writing.
