The Coronation meeting for men, to which we referred in

our issue of May 20th, was held at Queen's Hall on Tuesday, the Lord Chancellor presiding. A letter was read from the Archbishop of Canterbury expressing his satisfaction with the object of the gathering, and a striking address was delivered by the Archbishop of York, who dwelt on the spiritual significance of the Coronation and urged on his hearers that at such a time they should resolve to co-operate with the King in his dedication of himself to the service of the nation. As an outcome of the meeting, which was largely attended, it is proposed to form a club in the West End, with social, athletic, and residential advantages, to serve as a centre for the promotion of social service by laymen.
