THE POET AND THE STARS.

STABS, I would praise you, Over Lowery Hill.

Stars, I would praise you, Who have but any will And little bag of words.

" Do you love a buzzing gnat ? Far less than that We -account your words, O vain of new-found tongue ; We saw your fat earth ,frisk When it was young."

'Stars, I will praise you : Even to a gnat We grant his tiny day.

Though you account me not, Yet I will praise you :
