The Managers of Covent Garden Theatre have agreed to give

up to the performers, for the rest of the season, the entire profits of the theatre, and to furnish it with lights and every other requisite gratui- tously. This singular offer has been received by the performers, as was due, with every expression of thankfulness.

POOLE wrote a piece the other day, called the Yining hopefuls. It was found to be hopeful, but not practicable. Pooix. blames LISTON for not learning his part. It is retorted, that Lis-ros's part was not worth learning. We cannot say which is right. The author must not, however, expect to produce a Peal Pry every day, or get a LISTON to ... act it.
