THE COMIC MAGAZINE.

THE Comic Magazine is an attempt to set up a periodical laugh. HOOD favours us with an annual agitation of the maxillary glands ; but the editor of the Comic Magazine is determined to outdo him in the frequency; if he cannot equal him in the intensity of his fun. The work consists of verse set to plates-the puns are cut in wood. We very much prefer the lines of the engraver to those of the proser and worsifier, as CHARLES LAMB has the credit of saying.
