• * A DOWSERS' SOCIETY.

An attempt is being made to form a society of what is called in France Radiesthesie, one aspect of which we call water-divining. Such a society exists in France, Italy, Spain and Germany ; and it is believed that the radiesthetic students are arriving at some curious discoveries in vibration. The British Society (of which Col. Bell, Lindfield, Haywards Heath, is the organizer) would concern itself almost wholly with dowsing, an art that, it is said, can be taught and developed.
