SIR,—" A Very Poor Clergyman" seems to be niisinformed as to the subject he writes about. No fee whatever is paid to the -clergyman for the performance of the Burial Service. The fee is solely for the ground occupied by the grave, the freehold of the burial-ground being vested in the clergyman for the time being.
