The Throne of Canterbury. By the Rev. Morris Fuller. (Griffith,

Ferran, and Co.)—Mr. Fuller's preface explains the object of his work. This he describes as being " to explain the Metropolitical Jurisdiction of the Hierarchy, and to uphold the Archbishop's Court and Jurisdiction." When he proceeds to say, " Consequently it maintains the binding force of the luminous and exhaustive judgment which has just been given," we cannot follow his logic. A Judge may have undoubted jurisdiction and yet not exercise it well. This, of course, does not mean that, as a matter of fact, we differ from Mr. Fuller's opinion about the judgment. Apart from this, the volume contains a great amount of valuable information.
