IN SEARCH OF A HYMN-BOOK

[To the Editor of the SPECTATOR.] SIR,—One of the most interesting and attractive hymn-books known to me is the Olavian Hymnal, compiled by Mr. W. G. Rushbrooke, formerly head-master of St. Olave's School, Southwark, for the use of his boys (1919). The rich variety of its contents, drawn from the whole range of our religious verse, distinguishes the book from the common run of hymn- books, and at the same time makes it excellent reading for adults.—I am, Sir, &c.,
