Naffer than thou

Sir: Matthew Parris travels frequently to Barcelona (Another voice, 28 March), I and my family to Madrid. I would say that Barcelona is a `naffer' destination, but I don't think that even Barcelona by EasyJet qualifies Matthew as a Marxist. Lady Garel-Jones has been and remains a blood- hound in pursuit of cheapo tickets which, surprisingly often, turn out to be BA.

I myself, even when travelling on busi- ness, always fly Apex if I can. Reverse cachet? Inverted naffery? Or am I, too, a closet Marxist?
