The hardiest of the Annuals are now beginning to appear

above gronnd, and invite our speculations as to the beauty of their pictorial blOssoms. TURNER enters the field, in addition to STANFIELD, PROUT, .1-laarerm ; hitherto he bad only contributed a plate here and there --now he comes out with a whole book to himself. We hope his volume will not be the first to appear ; the others will suffer by coming after. An Annual of a novel description is announced, under the title of the Book of Beauties, by Miss LANDON ; to be adorned with graceful female heads by the best artists, engraved by or under the di- rection of CHARLES BEATH.
