In Ireland, says the Dublin correspondent of the Morning Chronicle,

"the beneficial effects of a good harvest are daily becoming more apparent, in a revival of confidence, to some degree, amongst all classes engaged in trade, as well as amongst landowners and farmers."

The accounts contained in the Continental papers of the position of the crops are generally encouraging. It is stated that throughout the South- west of Germany the wheat harvest has been exceedingly good, while the returns of other produce have also proved extremely abundant.— Times, City Article.
