been a literary tradition for people who have fled to the country to write letters, in prose or verse, to friends in the city, extolling rustic pleasures as against urban ones. A letter, please (maximum 150 words or 16 lines), from someone in the country who wishes he or she were back in town. Entries to `Competition No. 1642' by 7 September.
