Gold hanger Woods. By M. and C. Lee. (National Society.)—
This "child's romance" is ingeniously planned and well executed.
Susan Arbuthnot and her brothers and sisters are sent into the country to undergo the experiment of inoculation, and being there, Susan finds herself mixed up, so to speak, with the romance of a neighbouring family, a baronet's (we regret to say as wicked as usual), whose son has run away to join a band of smugglers, and whose daughter is cruelly neglected. All this is made into a capital story, which cannot fail to keep its young readers' attention and interest.
