Unglued

SIR: I used to complain bitterly of your stapling machine when the lone staple fell out and my Spectator disintegrated before my cyes. When you began gluing the pages together things looked up and I hoped that the days of a disintegrating Spectator were over. Alas today's copy fell apart the very moment that I opened it. Is custody of the glue-pot one of the more menial functions of Skinflint? Unless you are more generous with that glue I predict you will soon come unstuck! R. G. W. Richcord 26 Dickson Road, Lyneham, Wilts.

Sorry. We must endeavour to glue better. — Editor, The Spectator.
