Paris journalists are exceedingly angry that no mention of France was made in the British Queen's speech—"t was a gra- tuitous slight." • The Captain of the National Guards who acted as spokesman of the deputation to the Electoral Reform Committee, has been suspended from his functions for two months. Eleven other officers requested to be similarly dealt with, as they sympathized with the Captain.
