The Joint Stock Bank Committee have received a communication from the Chancellor of the Exchequer, in which he promises to intro- duce into the bill now passing through Parliament to continue the act authorizing Joint Stock Bauks to sue their shareholders civilly, the clause which is now in the frisk Banking Act, and which enables such banks to sue their shareholders criminally. This is the clause the in- troduction of which was desired by the deputation that waited on the Chancellor of the Exchequer a kw days agu.—Courier.
