A CORRECTION.

[To THE EDITOR OF THE "SpEcrAron."), Sin,—In your issue of June 27th, p. 1063, in the course of a book review, you say : "Mr. William B. Scott is Blair Professor of Geology and Paleontology in Princeton University, New York." Of course, your reviewer intended to write "New Jersey." It is probably as difficult for an Englishman to keep in mind the various States of the Union as it is for an American to keep in mind the various counties of England. But the prominence of Princeton as a university, and the fact that President Wilson has also been president of Princeton, seem to make the slip
