Indies, Ceylon, Egypt; Singapore, and Malta. Such conferences are most stimulating for all who take part in them, as the firstaxazference showed when it was held here before the war. They have, too, indirect results of great value to the Empire as a whole. The delegates had a most enjoyable tour through Canada. Dr. Donald's descriptive notes on the many towns which. he visited are pleasant reading, and t some of the extracts from speeches illustrate local opinion.
