SIR,—Janus remarks that the Secretary of State for Air, being a Methodist, would have no place ip -St. Clement Danes (if it became the official church of the Royal Air Force) except by courtesy. Only one class of person can ever have a " place " in a parish church. Accoiding to Blunt's Book of Church Law " every person within the parish in which a church is situate has a common-law right to the use of it in time of Divine Service." No non-paiishioner can have a " place," except by courtesy of the parishioners.
