Bible Noel. By Harriette E. Burch. (Religious Tract Society.) —This

is a pleasant and unpretentious little story of a boy who worked on a farm and who, being guided by principle and some- thing more (as his nickname of " Bible Noel" indicates), triumphs over all sorts of adverse circumstances. Finally, being got hold of by burglars and pressed into their service, he is able to frustrate, instead of advancing, their designs, and so secures a position for himself, in which he is able to gratify his higher tastes.
