Post Office and Public

SIR,—In support of W. J. Hopkin's letter about the arrival of the Spectator by post, my own recent experience is relevant. Last _week my copy had not arrived by Monday, so I complained to the .pamsagent, and in the fullness of time received a second copy. The ortifirarrived on the morning of November 15th, having been despatched from London on November 10th. The post-mark date on the wrapper was very clear, and I have taken the matter up with the local postmaster.
