Why integrate?

Sir: However many Asians we admit t) our country, is it not somewhat unrealistic to expect them to want to 'integrate ' with us?

Supposing Mr Heath suddenly expelled thousands of British people, who might seek refuge in, say, India, would they really wilsh to ' integrate ' with Indians, or the Indians with them? I say this with absolute respect for both races and not to cast any aspersion on either. In either case, would not the refugees prefer to form their own communities — or ' ghettos ' — to use the fa,shionable term, with people of their own race, traditions, language, customs, religion, etc., etc? It would seem more natural.
