In the spirit and metre of Chaucer, but not in his language, you are invited to supply a portrait (maximum 16 lines) of a modern 'pilgrim', whether, literally, to Lourdes, or to a pop festival, or on a demo march. Entries to 'Competition No 2008' by 6 November.
