connexion with this subject, no better instance of the kind could probably be found than the Life of Christ in the Words of the Four Gospels, arranged by the Rev. Dr. Hillard, High Master of St. Paul's School, London, formerly of Durham School. It is a continuous narrative, and though intended far the use of schools is of great general interest and usefulness. Mine is the fifth edition, published by Itivingtone in 1903, and contains fifty pages of valuable introductory matter, while the notes, though also brief, are exceedingly good.—I am, Sir, dic., T. G.
