Marshal Tito's Visit

SIR,—Despite cries to the contrary from parties with private axes to grind, the temper of this country still remains fundamentally liberal and Protestant. It can surely be presumed that the majority of our fellow-citizens look forward to greeting with a hearty English huzza that foreign warrior-statesman who has so successfully put out of joint the noses of autocrats both in the Kremlin and the Vatican.— Yours faithfully, H. C. CARDEW-RENDLE. 7 Grerille Road, Richmond, Surrey.
