The Chronicle of this morning has accounts of a little

more Anti- Corn-law agitation : the Peel measure has been duly denounced by meetings at St. John Hackney and Kenilworth, and by the Gloucester Anti-Corn-law Association. The Premiei has been burned in effigy at Carnarvon.

A meeting of rate-payers at Birmingham again refused a church-rate, on Wednesday, subject to the decision of is poll. During the meeting, a figure representing Sir Robert Peel was paraded about and then torn to pieces.
