The French Ministry resigned their offices on Tuesday, after an

ineffectual attempt by Count Moil,. to obtain assistance from some members of the Coalition. The Ministerial majority kept together till the more offensive portions of the address were expunged, on the understanding that the Government would give way after the presentation of the address to the King ; a ceremony perforated on Sunday last. Louis PHILIPPE seemed distressed—for the loss of his daughter, and replied in a few sentences of cold courtesy. Marshal SOULT was commissioned by the King to reconstruct the Ministry ; and the negotiations and intrigues, usual on the occasion of forming a new Cabinet, have commenced. The day before sending in his resignation, Count Moil for- warded positive instructions to Count SEILISTIANI to sign the treaty which gives Limburg and Luxemburg to Holland, and re- duces the amount of the Ilollando-Belgic debt to be paid by Bel- gium. It is said that in case of resistance by Belgium, the troops of the German Confederation will enforce the execution of the treaty. Loris PHILIPPE has assembled a large army on his Northern frontier ; but with what intent is not known.
