• * * Since the Royal and Ancient , game

of golf was first played in this country there has never been such golf as the exhibition provided by Mr. " Bobby " Jones at Sunningdale last week. By going round the Sunningdalc links in a competition in sixty-six and sixty-eight in two consecutive rounds he has achieved a world's record. Imagine playing thirty-six holes and, with the exception of a five at one hole, taking nothing more than four's and three's ! No wonder that he is regarded as. a golfing wizard. Never before has such mechanical perfection been seen on British links.
