Dr. MacQueen Outside the field of his work in medical

health very few people a short time ago would have heard of Dr. MacQueen. Now everyone knows his name. In a month or two probably it will be forgotten. Before that happens I for one would like to pay tribute to the way he handled the typhoid outbreak in Aberdeen. He was, of course, drowned with reporters and camera- men. He steered an admirable course between optimism and gloom. He provided steady proof of something we all knew, and which Dr. Gallup has recently confirmed: of all pro- fessions and callings that of doctor is the one we hold in highest regard.
