THE CHURCH.

The Rev. W. C. Leach, M.A. was on Friday last instituted to the vicarage of Ditham with Honing, Norfolk, on the presentation of the Bishop of Ely. On Saturday last the Rev. A. 111`Donald was instituted to the vicarage of Cotter- stock with Glapthorne, in the county of ,Northampton, Vacant by the death of tte Rev. T. M. Hitchens ; patron, the Right Ilan. the Earl of Westmoreland. On Wednesday the following gentlemen were chosen Scholars of Queen's College,. their names being arranged according to the order in which they stood at the last ge- neral examination for Scholarships :—Main, Kelland, Coward, Wilkiuson, Barber, Breese, Prise.
